Languages are like duct tape for cultures.Every language has something unique about it .Each language has a different way of expressing thoughts and feelings through words.These differences are the culture(language is spoken culture).By speaking the culture out loud everyday through language, it gets stronger.This is the trick to keeping the culture together.Like if you added another piece of duct tape just to make sure it doesn't fall apart.

The map above shows where some of the most widely used languages are spoken.
Proto-Indo-European
It is the parent of Indo-European languages and it could give us the hearth of languages such as Greek and Latin as well as part of the trunk of the language tree.Sadly the language is extinct so linguist are having to try and reconstruct it using backward reconstruction.There has been some success in the research but its not total.There is a theory that the hearth of Proto-Indo-European was somewhere around east central Europe.
This is where the hearth is thought to be.
